Do women get refractory periods after orgasm?
And if so what kinds of orgasms, clitoral, vaginal o g spot, and if they dont, why?
whiskey_pants: I have timed mine. I have about 17 seconds that are far too stimulating and then, in that sweet spot of 17 seconds, if you resume exactly what was happening before, same speed, pressure, etc. I cum again about instantly. Maybe 5 seconds max. And if you continue, same idea. BEST THING EVER.
solidad: Depends on the woman. I had a partner that couldn’t have another orgasm after a “big one”. Took her out for maybe 20 minutes.
My fiance can have multiples up to the point of losing count. Eventually I would stop more because it gets exacting then anything else. Of we really wanted to go again we probably could start in 10 – 15 minutes with making out and then go for more orgasms. Really depends on our mood.
Dizzzz77: Every time a male ejaculates, your pituitary gland produces a surge of oxytocin and prolactin, hormones that make you relax,. These hormones suppress dopamine, the neurotransmitter responsible for arousal. So the refractory period is the time it takes for your system to pass the hormones and rebuild your dopamine levels.
Women don’t have this biological makeup and thus don’t have refractory periods. Their hormone release actually re-energizes them. They do have stages of high sensitivity after orgasms but that tends to pass quickly
zeebopbiddlywop: For me it depends. Sometimes if I’m using my Hitachi, I can cum 4-5-6 times in a row in a matter of a few minutes. But normally once I’ve had an orgasm, I can play with it forever and never have another or be so spent that I can’t touch it at all. I’ve also learned if I used my Hitachi in the day and have sex that night, I will not have another orgasm (or it’s very difficult)
Wonkified: I definitely do. All I want to do is roll over and sleep after I cum. Unfortunately that’s not really an option in most straight relationships, but hopefully some day!
