Manual foreskin restoration?
I’ve heard about this. What exactly do you do and how effective is it on your penis?
Eulenbaby: Yeah, some people basically stretch the “remains” of the foreskin over long periods of time so that it covers the glans again. I think there even are some skin-stretching-contraptions available for that purpose.
However this doesn’t restore the nerve endings that were cut during the circumcision. The only advantage is that your glans is protected again from rubbing against your underwear’s fabric all day – so the theory is that your glans becomes more sensitive again.
I can’t really say if it works or not. I *can* say that it doesn’t help you “regrow” actual foreskin.
FoxFireUnlimited: Same thing as stretching your earlobes.
All skin can stretch with the proper encouragement.
As far as restoring the sensation, the actual functions of the foreskin, and the stuff like production of langerhans…nope.
Lots of side effects, too.
As bitter as I am about my own violation as an infant, I’d avoid this type of thing.
cocksuckaddict: It’s not BS. You can’t get actual foreskin back with all the nerve endings, ridged bands, frenulum (if they took that too) – but you can get the gliding mechanism back and your glans will get soft again from being protected. There is a new documentary out right now I believe called ‘American circumcision’ where they go into this.
talkinboutfuckin: This is the first I’ve ever heard of this, and it’s definitely ringing some BS alarms for me. What exactly is it?
