T.I.’s Tips For Sex on the Beach
Rapper T.I. has some seriously sweet things to say about the opposite sex to ELLE magazine — and all the while he’s promoting his new single where he refers to females as “mediocre h*s.”
In a recent interview with the women’s publication, T.I. explained his music and even gave some advice on having sex in the sand.
In his song “No Mediocre,” T.I. raps: “Had sex on the beach from Bermuda up to Cuba.” This led ELLE contributor Mickey Rapkin to have the rapper elaborate on his experiences with sex on the beach.
“You gotta have your utensils together, you know what I’m saying? A towel, a blanket — come prepared for the elements,” T.I. advises. “It’s the kind of thing you do once, say you’ve done it, and then say, ‘Okay, okay, it’s enough. Let’s go somewhere else.'”
So, basically, he’s saying it’s a terrible, uncomfortable novelty. As anyone who’s ever even just lounged on the beach can attest to, sand is awfully uncomfortable.
Rapkin continues to inquire about T.I.’s lyrics, asking, “In the song ‘No Mediocre’ you rap about ‘mediocre h*s.’ How do you define a ‘mediocre h*’?”
“Sometimes it’s a fashion thing. Sometimes it’s the attitude thing,” the 34-year-old hip-hop artist explained himself.
Then, he dropped this piece of knowledge that every woman should read twice. “I think women are born on a pedestal,” T.I. said. “And the only thing that can remove them is a lack of respect for themselves.”
The rapper also went into how his time in prison changed the way he looked at women and relationships. “I saw so many guys worrying about their women and what they’re doing and all that shit,” he said. “They end up making their time so much harder on themselves. You don’t know where they’re at, so there’s no use worrying yourself about it.”
